Brouwse Classic's Regatta

This is a 3-day competition with a total of 5 races. We missed the first start because of an issue with the outer jib furler, which we had to go clear at the pontoon, but we raced Lona hard during the remaining 4 raced - coming in first in 3 of these, and second in the other race. Moreover also our direct competitors each missed one of the races because of the windy conditionso. We did hope for a podium place but the racing was super-close, especially against our 2 OGA Falmouth Working Boat colleagues, and Lona's handicap moved her seriously back in the general outcome.
