Now Lona again has a gaff rig, entirely new and designed by Hoek Design. The new design is supremely beautiful. The design is respectful for Lona’s age and styling, but yet it also takes into account the significantly evolved insights in aerodynamics.

 

Our spars are pitch pine and the mast is hollow.

The bowsprit and the jackyards were made out of the earlier mast.
