Water-rAnt 2019

This bi-annual maritime heritage event in our home town is obviously a must-do. Lona is now based in Wemeldinge, which is a convenient gathering place for the many OGA boats on the Oosterschelde, and six hours sailing away from Antwerp. We met 5-6 Beaufort wind, but from a comfortable angle, so we sailed double-reefed.

The event weekend was stormy, with rain and wind, diminishing the number of visitors. But the usual warm and interested atmosphere between the participants is unbreakable!
