A week in the north of France

Some gentle solo sailing along the Belgian coast and to Dunkerque and Boulogne. All nice and relaxed, apart from the Calais area with its ferry traffic and underwater hazards, and a confusing harbour at Boulogne. The breakwater there did not align with my digital map, and I had to get out of a marina dockthrough the red traffic lights.

Returning started at 2 AM because of the strong current and the timing of the planned entry in Gravelines, And even getting OUT of Boulogne in the night is confusing because of lacking harbour lights. The worst part of the journey happened in the early morning in front of the Gravelines where I met a raft full of refugees trying to get to the UK.
